Multiloop vs Meta Ads Manager

Written by James, Founder of Multiloop. Last updated 2 November 2026. Prices checked 2 November 2026.

Meta Ads Manager runs your Facebook and Instagram ads and tells you how they did. Multiloop tells you which ad to make, and how your results compare with businesses like yours.

Ads Manager is free, it is the only place to run Meta ads, and with a Pixel it reports your clicks, add to carts and purchases. What it cannot do is show you what is selling for anyone else. Multiloop is not a replacement for Ads Manager. It is the step before it (which ad to make) and the step after it (how that ad compares). Meta tells you how your ads did. Not how they compare.

Paste your link. Get the ad that sells it.

Which should you pick?

You will use Ads Manager either way. It is Meta's own free tool for building, running and reporting on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Audience Network ads, and Advantage+ adds automation for budgets, audiences, placements and creative (Meta newsroom). With a Pixel or Conversions API it shows purchases, cost per purchase and purchase ROAS for your account. Advantage+ creative will reorder your text, expand and brighten images, animate a still into a short video and add music (Meta Marketing API).

Add Multiloop if you want to know what to put in Ads Manager, and whether it sold compared with your niche. Ads Manager does not recommend an ad; it tests what you give it. It sees your account only. Multiloop gives you the ad to make from what is selling right now for similar businesses, then Learn shows your Loop Rate against your niche and whether each format is rising or falling for everyone on Multiloop. No ad-account connection is needed; the Multiloop Pixel works like the Meta Pixel and sits on your checkout.

Why choose Multiloop alongside Ads Manager

Data. Your AI knows your results. Multiloop knows everyone's. Ads Manager shows your account. Learn shows your Loop Rate, your Loop Rate against similar businesses, and whether each format is rising or falling for everyone on Multiloop. Stop what's falling. Scale what's rising.

The ad to make. Ads Manager starts when you have an ad. Multiloop starts when you have a link. Paste it and get the hook, format, narrative, angle and visual approach that is selling for your niche, then build the ad and run it in Ads Manager.

Set-up. Nothing to connect. The Multiloop Pixel works like the Meta Pixel; on Shopify it goes on the checkout, on ticketing it sits on the platform checkout. Ads Manager keeps reporting exactly as before.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum daily budget for Meta ads?

It depends on what you optimise for and your currency. Meta sets separate minimums for impressions, high-frequency actions like clicks, low-frequency actions like app installs, and video views, and returns the exact figure per account (Meta Marketing API, MinimumBudget). Third-party guides cite about $1 a day for impressions and $5 a day for clicks; those figures are not verified on Meta's own page.

Can I run Meta ads with $5 a day?

For impressions or engagement objectives, third-party guides say yes; for purchase objectives the practical floor is higher, because the daily budget should be at least five times the cost-per-result goal (Relevant Audience).

Why does Ads Manager show purchases but Shopify does not?

Ads Manager counts purchase events sent by the Pixel or Conversions API, with Meta's attribution window; the shop counts orders. The two can differ (Shopify Community). Multiloop's Loop Rate counts orders on the checkout.

Does Ads Manager tell me which ad to make?

No. It reports on what you run, and Opportunity Score suggests set-up changes. Advantage+ creative varies the assets you upload. Multiloop tells you the ad to make before you open Ads Manager.

Do Advantage+ enhancements change my ads without asking?

Enhancements are on by default and can crop, expand or add music to assets (adlibrary.com, Sept 2026); settings turned off can reappear during set-up (JumpFly, Aug 2026).

Can Ads Manager show me what works for businesses like mine?

No. You see your own account. Multiloop's Loopers Rate shows which formats are rising or falling for everyone on Multiloop in your niche.

Do I still need Ads Manager if I use Multiloop?

Yes. Multiloop tells you which ad to make and what happened after the click. Ads Manager is where you run the ad.

Does Multiloop connect to my Meta ad account?

No. The Multiloop Pixel works like the Meta Pixel and sits on your checkout. No ad-account connection is needed.

Does Multiloop replace the Meta Pixel?

No. Keep the Meta Pixel for Ads Manager reporting. The Multiloop Pixel sits alongside it and feeds Learn.

Does Multiloop know how much I spend?

No. Multiloop measures visits and orders, not spend.
